During lockdown 2020/21 we took many a stroll along the beautiful Brook Farm Open Space, a stunning parkland full of trees and nature. Along the way, you could not help notice the collection of rainbow drawings put up in peoples windows as a sign of thanks to the NHS.
There is a brook that runs along the pathway, where children are often seen playing on a rope swing enjoying the type of adventures that only nature has to offer.
Years ago there was a red kite stuck at the top of a tree in the Brook Farm Open Space. This story brings the red kite to life and the joys of being a child playing outside.
